Time was when Arsenal played the best football in the Premier League and dominated with a team known as the invincible.
The team had spine and a key member of the squad is former France international Thierry Henry – Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru has revealed that Henry is his idol and he dreams of playing for Arsenal somedat.
The highly-rated teenager has confirmed that he will not be leaving Eupen in the January transfer window but revealed that he plans on moving to the Premier League in the near future.
Onyekuru spoke on his compatriot’s, Ndidi, proposed move to the reigning Premier League champions and said: ‘I’d like to go to England. Ndidi is my example, we are from the same region in Nigeria.
‘I would rather go to Arsenal. I know there are many scouts who follow me but I remain calm.’
The youngster revealed last year that his idol while growing up was Gunners legend Thierry Henry.
He said: ‘I hope to find myself one day in a top club in Europe and to play for my national team.
‘The shirt I dream of wearing is Arsenal’s because I’ve always had Thierry Henry as a role model since I was little.’
