Official – Arsenal In Pole Position To Sign Highly Coveted Star, Giroud To Be Ousted

With at least two players in every position for Arsenal, the January transfer window is sure to be a quiet one for us but we may see some players depart the Emirates to further their careers.

According to reports making the rounds, Arsenal have joined other top European clubs in their pursuit of Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to John McGarry of the Daily Mail.

Dembele, 20, joined Celtic this summer from Fulham on a four year deal. The French star has scored 12goals in 17 games in all competitions for his Scottish club this term.

His impressive cameos for club has seen him draw attraction from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Arsenal

“They’re a team, they’re together, we don’t need to sell any players. Hopefully we can retain him but again our job is to have players that are wanted by other clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere. That will be an indication of the quality of footballers that we have.”

It will be difficult for Celtic to allow the player leave soon given that they only signed him this summer. However, money is the main determining factor in the transfer of player and if the price is right, he might be allowed to leave.
