The new deal is reportedly worth more £40 million a season. In total, Arsenal will bring in more than £200m from the five-year shirt sponsors contract with Emirates.
“Our shirt partnership is the longest running in the Premier League and one of the longest relationships in world sport,” Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis said about the deal.
“This mutual commitment is testimony to the strength and depth of our unique relationship.”
Compared to the other 19 teams in the Premier League, Arsenal’s more than £40m a season from Emirates makes their shirt deal the second highest in the league. Only Manchester United’s deal with Chevrolet is worth more. The Red Devils receive over £47m a season from the American car maker.
