Arsenal are reportedly preparing a whopping new offer to ensure that the club’s most prized assets do not leave this summer.
The Gunners are seemingly gearing up for an eventful transfer window after failing to qualify for the Champions League next season.
With Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez yet to extend their contracts which will expire next year, rumours have continued to link them with a departure.
However, the Mirror are now claiming that the Gunners are willing to offer a new deal worth a combined $38.5 million (£30 million) per-season in salary for the duo.
The new contract would be a two-year extension to the players’ current deals, commiting them to the club till 2020.
If they do agree to remain at the Emirates stadium, Ozil and Sanchez will become the highest paid players in Arsenal’s long history.
