Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal will continue with a 3-4-3 formation from the start of next season.
The Gunners switched from Wenger’s traditional 4-3-3 system to three at the back in March and the move helped the club to a second FA Cup final victory in three years.
Wenger’s side arrived in Sydney this morning for the start of their Australia tour and the Frenchman’s confirmed he will play a number of different systems to get his players up to speed.
However, the 67-year-old has revealed he intends to start the season with a 3-4-3 system after enjoying relative success at the end of last season in that formation.
“We’ll test many systems. At the moment, in pre-season, we are in the continuity of the end of last season,’ said Wenger.
‘In some games, we will play with four at the back and some with three, but at the start of the season we will certainly play with three.’
