Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as told reporters during a press conference few minutes ago that there is a good chance of Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner staying at Arsenal as the player struggles to find another club.
Bendtner who has been linked to several clubs including Stoke City, Hamburg, Crystal Palace, Hul City among others is yet to find a club as his outrageous wage demands has put off several clubs. Although Arsenal are desperate to off load the striker from their wage bill the player is however adamant to lower his wage demands and as such Wenger is forced to keep the player.
“The chance for him to leave now is very small,” he said. “If he comes back well and gets fit, I will use him.”
Nicklas is currently the second highest scoring player still at Arsenal with only Theo Walcott scoring more than the Dane. Bendtner has spent the last 3 years on loan deals with various clubs and may well be sent on another loan should Wenger decide he still does not want the player.
