Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
The midfielder enjoyed an impressive breakthrough season last term and according to claims from French news outlet Le Progres, a host of top European clubs are interested in signing him.
Ndombele has established himself as a key player for Lyon and has been widely dubbed as one of Ligue 1’s brightest young talents.
Manchester United have been noted with particular interest in recent weeks but if claims from Le Progres are to be believed, Arsenal have also been monitoring his progress in France.
The Gunners are thought to be closing in on a deal to sign Sampdoria holding midfielder Lucas Torreira, but it seems they will also keep their eye on Ndombele’s development in France.
Arsenal are not alone in their interest in signing the young midfielder, though, with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool also noted by Le Progres as potential destinations.
