The former Liverpool striker is not hopeful for the Terriers this weekend
Premier League legend Michael Owen believes Huddersfield Town will suffer a second defeat in a week when they travel to Arsenal this weekend.
The Terriers were beaten 2-1 by AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday and face a tough test in north London on Saturday as they take on Unai Emery’s Gunners.
Arsenal are unbeaten in 20 matches in all competitions and are level on points with Chelsea in fifth place in the Premier Leaguetable.
A win could take the Gunners third in the top flight, whereas a much-needed victory could see Town rise to 15th in the division.
Former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker Owen does not believe Town will be able to improve on their current league standing this weekend however, with the pundit tipping an Arsenal win to nil over the Terriers.
In his weekly Premier League predictions blog on BetVictor , the forward wrote: “Arsenal are unbeaten in 20 games in all competitions and four points this week from the visit of Spurs and a trip to Old Trafford shows just how far Unai Emery’s side have come in such a short period of time.
“Town have lost eight of their last nine top-flight games against the Gunners and failed to score in each of those games. I fancy a similar scoreline at the Emirates.”
