Arsenal had a bad start in the League this season but they have been developing from game to game, with the new signings showing flashes of quality.
Germany international and Arsenal star midfielder Mesut has been full of praise of new boys Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi, who have both made impact recently.
Ozil claims the pair have integrated and adapted quickly to the rigours of the Premier League. He also claims the aforementioned pair brings positive energy to the dressing room.
Mustafi has been solid at the back for the Gunners since being brought into the team, while Xhaka has also managed to impress despite limited starting opportunities so far.
‘They’ve been fully integrated from the first day. They are guys who just get on with everyone and bring positive energy to the team,’ Ozil told the Arsenal match-day programme.
The 27-year-old also revealed how he spoke personally with fellow countryman Mustafi about making the move to the Emirates Stadium.
‘‘I’ve known Shkodran from the German national team and we spoke a lot about this club before his transfer,’ Ozil explained.
‘He had a few questions for me, about the team, the manager and the city. We spoke about things and I was pleased that he eventually decided to move here.’
