Several players are linked with a move to Arsenal but Wenger has reportedly ruled out bolstering his squad this winter.
However, reports have indicated that Wenger is interested in bringing PSG’s Lucas Moura to the Emirates, especially as uncertainty arises over Alexis Sanchez future.
With just eighteen months to go on his current contract, Sanchez continues to attract interest from a number of top teams, all hoping to sign the forward on a cut-price deal in the Summer.
The club have so far failed to reach a compromise over the player’s wage demands, believed to be somewhere in the region of £250,000-a-week. Worse still, Sanchez himself has appeared visibly frustrated in recent weeks, particularly after the 3-3 draw at Bournemouth, sparking increased speculation over his future.
Although, Lucas Moura is not an out an out striker, he can play from midfield and the flanks, so Wenger believes the player can come in Alexis’ stead. The pacey Brazilian has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons, and has failed to completely establish himself in the French capital.
