If the reports making the rounds are anything to go by, Arsenal fans should gear up for celebrations as a striker is certain to join Arsenal before the close of this week.

This transfer window has seen Arsenal linked to so many attackers in the world, it now seems a  deal is already in the offing for Inter Milan and Argentina striker Mauro Icardi per Arsetalks.

Arsenal and the Italians have reached a common ground, with a €60m fee plus €8m in add-ons agreed. Further reports suggest that the player will sign a 5-year contract with Arsenal.

Aleksandre Lacazette and Riyad Mahrez have been the most linked attackers to Arsenal and it is somewhat a shock that no other source have made this report. Wenger has constantly said he would not reveal his targets and this may be one of his surprise signings of the summers.

Icardi recorded 16 goals and four assists in 33 appearances for club so we can be rest assured that he can deliver the goods if he makes the move.
