In less than a week, we’ll be done with all the hassles and hostility of the media wave per football transfer and focus fully on the game itself.
According to reports, Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has been made available for a loan move after a disappointing start to the season.
Arsenal signed Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers earlier this summer and this saw Chambers fell down the selection perking order of Arsene Wenger. Holding partnered Lauren Koscielny at the heart of defense in Arsenal’s goalless draw with Leicester City.
Although, there’s shortage of central defenders at Arsenal at the moment but we are close to sealing a deal for Mustafi and this will see Chambers fall further down the selection perking order. His best bet at regular football is away from Arsenal.
The 21-year-old is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs: West Bromwich, Hull, Stoke and Sunderland among the sides interested.
But it remains to be seen whether the Gunners would reject an offer close to the £16million they paid Southampton for Chambers in 2014.
