The Premier League title has eluded Arsenal for over a decade and we expect a more pragmatic approach in the transfer market this term. But the window is become arduous with each passing day.
Arsenal have been alerted to the availability of Spain born play maker Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez also known as Isco. This is according to various report claiming Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he has too many midfielders and will be willing to sell one or two.
When quizzed about the possibility of letting some of his players off the radar of Los Blancos, he said:
“They are all very good, but we will make decisions.”
Isco fell down the selling perking order for Real Madrid when former manager Rafa Benitez was replace by club legend and French tactician Zidane. Although, he played a bit-part in Real Madrid’s Champions League success, he comes from the bench most offen.
Wenger anchored Arsenal style of play on fluid system that sees the club retains more possess against opposing teams and offer threats in attack creatively. Isco would fit in perfectly into the team of Arsenal with his mesmerizing skills.
However, Mahrez has been linked for £37 million whilst the Spanish newspaper is suggesting that Isco could cost any buyer around £75 million. Wenger has been very cautious with transfer fees in the past with his record signing being Mesut Özil for £42 million from Real Madrid three years ago.
Isco has scored 15 goals and assisted 22 in his 97 La Liga matches with Real Madrid.
