After 10 games played in the Premier League Liverpool remain one of three teams boasting an unbeaten record in the EPL. Ahead of their trip to Arsenal, the Reds have been hit with a series of injuries to key players.
Star player Mohammed Salah sparked fears as he was pictured with a protective cast on his wrist during training at Melwood this week. However, Liverpool have allayed fears as a minor issue and the Egyptian is expected to the lineup on Saturday which is a huge blow to the Gunners who were hoping the Reds will be playing without their star man.
Further down the rooster, club captain Jordan Henderson is still a doubt after pulling off with a hamstring problem against Cardiff City in their last game.
Fellow midfielder Naby Keita is also expected to miss out on the class having not fully recovered from the hamstring problem he suffered in the Champions League tie against Red Star Belgrade.
The injuries to these two players could pave the way for Brazilian ace Fabinho to make a start at the Emirates, which would be his 3rd consecutive start in as many matches. The game is expected to be tight as the Liverpool’s attackers and Arsenal Midfield singled out as two key components that could decide the game.
Liverpool are currently second on the EPL table level on points with leaders Manchester City, but with an inferior goal difference.
