Massive Blow! “Why i subbed Koscielny” – Arsene Wenger

Arsenal fought very hard for a point yesterday as they looked fatigued from the opening of the game but it was the referee who had the lowest rating after the game for his horrendous decisions.

Laurent Koscielny was removed in the second half and Wenger has revealed why he took off the French star.

The Frenchman removed the centre-back after just 64 minutes against the Cherries, with Gabriel Paulista coming on in his place for the rest of the match.

At this point the Gunners were 3-0 down against Eddie Howe and co. and there were worries that the defender was about to compound fans’ misery by being injured.

However, luckily for Gooners, the France international was just suffering with a bit of cramp.

‘It was cramp in his legs. That’s why I took him off,’ Wenger confirmed after the game – which the north Londoners sensationally came back to draw 3-3.
