Marcus Rashford has been told to quit Manchester United to seek more first team football by Newcastle legend Micky Quinn.
The former Magpies centre-forward’s advice comes after a source close to the club revealed that Rashford may not be at Old Trafford next season if Jose Mourinho is.
Apparently the 20-year-old England striker was left unhappy at being a substitute for the recent Manchester Derby.
Rashford is actually enjoying his best goalscoring season in a United shirt, having found the back of the net 12 times.
However, Quinn, who rates the forward as one of the “most exciting players seen in a United shirt” believes he must move on to become even better.
He told TalkSport: “I think he’s gotta go. He’s not a first choice for Jose Mourinho. He is not first choice.
“The kid is one of the most exciting players we’ve seen in a Manchester United shirt – I’ve got to say that.
“If he wants to be a regular, I don’t think it’s with Jose Mourinho. Lukaku is the first choice on the pitch.”
