Arsenal could be signing PSG’s Mamadou Sakho if you believe the reports coming from France this morning. The French international has made it clear to the PSG board that he wants to leave the team after seeing his first team chance drastically reduced.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed the reports saying :
“It is true that Mamadou expressed his desire to find a new club,” he told reporters.
“The position of the club is clear. Until September 2, the situation will evolve; there will be time to find a solution that suits both parties.”
Sakho is a player whose versatility will well suit Arsenal who are in need of cover in both the centre of defense and the defensive midfield department. We Arsenal, he will have guaranteed first team opportunity if not in the defense but in the midfield especially with Arteta now injured and aging.
According to reports, the French man who Wenger has been trailing for a very long time may be available for as little as 6 million pounds and he is on wages that Arsenal should find easy to pay.
