There is uncertainty over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez as the player picked up a hamstring injury during training with the Chilean National team.
The 27-year-old was originally reported to have sustained a minor tear in his calf bur Wenger’s since revealed that the Chile FA text him to confirm that it was Sanchez’s hamstring.
According to the Metro.
Wenger’s warned Chile that any attempt to play Sanchez this week would be a ‘suicidal decision’ but it’s the update on the forward’s injury that will truly worry Arsenal fans.

Sanchez missed two months of last season after sustaining a hamstring injury against Norwich in November and a similar injury would see the Chilean miss some vital fixtures for the Gunners.
