Arsene Wenger has delivered the latest team news ahead of the North London Derby with Tottenham and we will yet be without other key players for the clash.
Bellerin missed our win against Ludogrets but Wenger expects the young Spaniard to be fit to face the Lily Whytes on Sunday.
However, it is sad to note that Santi Cazorla has not trained, Monreal too be will absent and Gibbs is also battling with a shoulder injury – our injury days are not yet gone and this is really annoying, knowing that the injured players did not even have collision with opponents before picking up these injuries.
speaking to the media, Wenger said:
“Bellerin has a test. I left him behind in midweek because I was cautious with him.
“I think he should be alright.”
Jenkinson could end up at left-back instead – We also have two injury doubts in that position and the England man could be asked to cover.
Kieran Gibbs, who has played the last two matches, is a doubt with a shoulder injury.
Fellow left-back Nacho Monreal is also a doubt with a thigh problem.
Santi Cazorla, who has an Achilles issue, hasn’t trained.
In-form Theo Walcott is rated as likely to return after his hamstring injury.
