Latest Injury News – Cazorla Doubtful, Monreal, Bellerin And Walcott

According to reports from 1nildown,

We are facing quite a few injury problems ahead of North London Derby. The likes of Santi Cazorla, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott all missed our clash against Ludogorets, and it is still not clear whether they will be available for NLD.

Wenger’s Comments in his press conference hinted that none of them had suffered any long-term injury, but the Frenchman refrained from giving any concrete information on their possible returns.

We do have a good squad depth at the moment, but these four players are really crucial for us, and I can see us struggling on Sunday in their absence.

Carl Jenkinson didn’t feel me with confidence against Ludogorets at all and I think that it’s really important that Bellerin plays on Sunday. After some decent performances in recent weeks, Gibbs also struggled last night, and I would prefer to see Monreal in our starting eleven on Sunday.

Walcott has been one of our best players this season, and I think he is a definite starter now. Same can be said about Cazorla, who has formed a perfect central midfield partnership with Francis Coquelin.

Despite their recent improvements, I do believe that we have a far better squad than Sp*rs this season. They did manage to shorten the gap last season, but Arsene Wenger has improved his squad a lot season and has made sure that the order reverted to normal.

Irrespective of our injury issues, we will start the game as favourites, but, our job will become a whole lot easier if these four players manage to make our starting eleven for the game.
