Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria To Become Gunners?

Arsenal are looking to negotiate a £70 million deal for Real Madrid trio Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria. The Gunners have so far struggled to do business this summer but with only three days left, Arsene Wenger is keen to strengthen his squad.

The club were linked with Madrid colleague Gonzalo Higuain for most of the summer before the Argentine secured a move to Napoli. Luis Suarez was the Gunners’ next target but Liverpool refused to sell to a Premier League rival putting Arsenal in a difficult position.

A poor opening result put more pressure on Arsene Wenger to spend after only brining in 20-year old French striker Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer but results have improved and the club’s qualification for the Champions League group stages has lightened the mood at the Emirates. The fans are still eagerly awaiting new arrivals however and Wenger is looking to make a stunning triple swoop.

The club announced the re-signing of Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer yesterday but are set to announce their ambition this season. The three players in question have all said they do not want to leave Madrid but with Carlo Ancelotti looking to put his mark on the team and the club trying to raise money for a world record deal for Gareth Bale, the player’s futures could well be out of their hands.

Wenger has hinted he has received good news in his pursuit of the trio but will have to wait until Bale’s move is completed before he can advance in his own transfer negotiations. Kaka has recently stated his desire to leave the Bernabeu and the Brazilian could be another target for Wenger, as could Chelsea’s Juan Mata who looks to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

  2. It’s very much possible for a woman to become head coach of Barcelona Fc than for Wenger and co to pay for those three alleged Real Madrid players.
