Just In, 6ft Star Spotted In London Amid £42m Proposed Deal – Fans Will Be Delighted

The curtains for the new Premier League season will be rolled out this weekend when Leicester City take on Manchester United in the community Shield games.

Arsenal will begin their campaign against  Liverpool at the Emirates less than a fortnight from today but we might go into the competition without a first choice centre back.

Laurent Koscielny is still away for holidays following his engagement with France at the European Championship, while Mertesacker has been ruled of action for the whole of this year.

This has left Wenger with no choice than to sign reinforcement in defence even though he revealed that he is on the look out for an experienced attacker.

Arsenal have been linked to signing tough-tackling defender Shkodran Mustafi and reports have suggested that the deal is almost done.

According to Italian Journalist Emmanuele Giulianelli of Gazzetta Dello, the stumbling block to the deal is 4.2million Pounds, which will meet the player’s valuation if added by Arsenal.

Giulianelli, very well known for his right reportage, Twitter on his handle.

Mustafi, Arsenal  and Valencia are still 5Million Euros far away for the fee. #afc”

Despite the German player having a release clause of 42million Pounds, Arsenal are expected to pay between 20-30million Pounds for the player.
