Reports has it that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is set to turn down a move to North London this summer. The English man who found the back of the net no fewer than 24 times in the league last season which earned him a place in the national side for the European Championships hosted in France, Seem to prefer a stay at the King power stadium than heading to the Emirate.
It was believe that the Gunners triggered a £20m release clause in Vardy’s contract last week, after his 24 Premier League goals last season helped to fire Leicester to the title.
Latest reports has it that the Gunners have verbally agreed a three-year deal worth £120,000 a week with Vardy, who will wait until the end of Euro 2016 to make a final decision.
According to Evening Standard, Vardy is now set to dump the Gunners’ offers in favour of staying put at the King Power Stadium with the newly crowned Champions of England.
It is believed that the King Power giants are offering the English International a new £100,000-a-week deal in other to stop him from moving out of the King Power Stadium as they prepare for a debut Champions League campaign next season
