Experienced France and Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is full of praise for Arsenal target and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
Arsenal has activated a £20 million pounds release clause in Vardy’s contract but the striker remains undecided over his proposed move to the Emirates.
England striker Jamie Vardy proved his talent twice in the Premier League clashes against the Gunners last season, scoring three times, and having seen him closely, Koscielny is convinced he would be a huge asset for the Gunners.
The centre-half Laurent Koscielny has no doubts that the Leicester striker would be a welcome addition and claim: “Jamie Vardy is very hard to play against because he likes to use the depth of the pitch and is very good at getting behind the defence”.
Koscielny told Omnisport “He’s hard to play against because he likes to use depth, he’s very good at running behind the defence.”
“And in front of the goal, he doesn’t think, he feels the goal, as soon as he can shoot, he does.
“He proved this season with Leicester that he can be a great striker, and he scored some goals with his national team
Koscielny’s comments about the England international are coming after French striker Olivier Giroud admitted he would love to work alongside Jamie Vardy upfront for Arsenal next season.
The Experienced French international defender Laurent Koscielny hopes to be celebrating the European championship glory as well as top signings by Arsenal this summer.
The Leicester striker was the joint-second top scorer in the English Premier League last season, scoring 24 times, and potential partner Olivier Giroud has already approved the proposed transfer.
