Talking about players’ progression from the academy to the first team, Arsenal have often been given credit for seeing so many players ascend the grade of the club unlike other Premier League clubs.
According to latest report, Arsenal youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide is on the verge of joining Arsenal’s first team following his impressive show-off for the academy.
The 18-year-old midfielder is among the most highly rated players in the club’s youth set-up and has impressed in the two first team appearances he’s already made for the top team.
But both of those games came in the FA Cup and the number of high quality midfield options in Wenger’s squad suggests it could be difficult for Reine-Adelaide to make a serious dent on the team.
The report is in the claim that the player’s profile picture has been removed from the academy page of the club.
The former Lens Midfielder will find it difficult breaking into the first team of Arsenal as the position is already star studded.
