Arsenal are now jointly atop the Premier League log, thanks to two goals and a goal from Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil respectively.
Despite being down by a man, Theo Walcott had the chance to bury Swansea to seal a hatrick, but he ballooned a much-needed Ox-Chamberlain assist.
Speaking after the game, Chamberlain revealed Theo Walcott has apologized to him for missing the chance.
“It just got there, to be fair,” the Ox said about his first pass to Theo which ended up rolling along the goalline. “I wanted a little bit further in front of him but in the end he made it into a good opportunity for himself.
“At the time I was thinking, obviously, when a teammate misses you always think well, he should have given it to me. He’s on a hattrick, you’ve got no complaints.
“[For the second] I just put my head down and ran.
“I felt like I had the legs on him and I did in the end and it was just a case of if I could give Theo his hattrick but he didn’t want to do either.
“It would have been nice for him to get a hattrick.
“He came and said sorry to me in the dressing room, I should have had a few assists.”
The Ox has registered just one assist so far this season in all competitions across a total of 211 minutes played.
