“I’m Sad” Oliver Giroud Reveals Why He’s Unhappy

Mathieu Debuchy’s first team return with Arsenal came to a horrific end after just 16 minutes against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The 31-year-old returned in the absence of Hector Bellerin – his first appearance since November 2015.

But a hamstring injury forced him off in a 3-1 win for the Gunners.

Compatriot and Arsenal team-mate revealed how gutted he was for his friend and colleague and spoke with great sadness after the game about his injury.

‘I’m sad for him,’ he told SFR Sport.

‘On top of him player that I like a lot, he’s also a great guy.

‘I hope he comes back quickly and stronger than before, but it’s true it’s starting to become a lot for him.’

Arsene Wenger also expressed his concern at the situation after the game.
