BAYERN MUNICH and Real Madrid player James Rodriguez is reportedly keen to join either Liverpool or Arsenal when the transfer window reopens in July.
Rodriguez was loaned to Bayern from Real Madrid in the summer and, having overcome a slow start, has now rediscovered his best form in Bavaria.
The Colombia international has emerged as the perfect heir to Franck Ribery with the return of Jupp Hynckes as manager key to his improvement.
However, the cost of Rodriguez may prove too much for Bayern Munich who prefer to conduct their business under the radar.
And Spanish website Don Balon say the 26-year-old may chance his arm in England with Liverpool or Arsenal instead.
It is said Rodriguez has been discussing his future with compatriot and Barcelona defender Yerry Mina.
He has reportedly told Mina that his preference is to return to Real Madrid in the summer.
That dream, however, will hinge on whether or not Zinedine Zidane is still in charge.
The Frenchman is facing an uncertain future with his chances of staying in the job boiling down to whether he can win the Champions League for a third consecutive season.
And Don Balon say that, if Zidane remains in the job, Rodriguez is determined to sign for Arsenal or Liverpool instead. The Gunners appear well-stocked in attack following the arrivals of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last month.
