Real Madrid’s manager Carol Ancelotti has declared he does not regret letting Mesut Ozil join Arsenal. The high rated German was sold to Arsenal on the last day of the transfer window in a deal said to be 42.5 million pounds but despite Real Madrid’s poor start to the season, Ancelotti claims he has no regrets about the sale of the German.
“I do not regret his departure,” the former Chelsea boss said.
He went on to wish Ozil good luck at Arsenal and also claim the sale of the player is not responsible for Real Madrid’s poor start ot the season.
“I wish him well, but we do not need him because we are doing alright. Our problem is not in attack.
“We are scoring a lot of goals. The problem is balance. We have conceded a lot of goals.”
Ozil’s Arsenal career has started off a on a bright note. He has so far created 5 goals for his Arsenal team mates and scored once ( against Napoli in the champions league ). He is currently the highest assist giver in the premier league with 4 assists.
