Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho renew hostility this weekend in the Premier League but Arsenal will be without some key players.
Spain international and Arsenal diminutive midfielder Santi Cazorla will not be returning for the game against United as he is still battling with an Achilles problem.
Cazorla has been out of our squad since October, after the won Ludogrets in the Champions game at the Emirates. Reports have stated that he had a setback after returning to training.
His Achilles’ is the root of the problem, an issue he has been struggling with for around a year now. He missed 43 days and 7 games last season with the same problem between March and April.
This news comes a huge blow for us as Wenger will be looking to win Mourinho for the first time in the Premier League. With Cazorla, Arsenal have had more possession.
That being said, while a completely different player, we didn’t have Granit Xhaka available last season, and we might even get to see Aaron Ramsey playing in the middle where we know he can cause so much damage.
So it’s not all bad.
