Arsene Wenger has never won the Carling Cup since he was appointed as the manager of Arsenal and it seems like the Champions League, the Carling(EFL) Cup will continue to elude Arsene Wenger.
Speaking after we were knocked out by Southampton ahead of the the Premier League game for this Saturday, Wenger revealed that Oiver Giroud could take part in the game.
Lucas Perez led the line with Giroud not risked after recently suffering a slight groin problem.
Meanwhile, Santi Cazorla is continuing to recover from an Achilles injury that has plagued his season.
The Spaniard hasn’t featured since October 19 when Arsenal turned over Ludogorets 6-0 in the Champions League.
And while Arsene Wenger hopes Giroud will be available for their trip to the London Stadium, he admits it’s still a waiting game as far as Cazorla in concerned.
