Arsenal currently have at least two world class players in every position, claims Arsene Wenger but rightly so, our team seem complete for the first time in a long while.
Arsene Wenger has compared Welsh international midfielder Aaron Ramsey and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard claiming that the Arsenal midfielder is in the same class as the former Chelsea star.
Beginning this season, Aaron Ramsey has only started one match for Arsenal due to a hamstring injury he picked up in the Premier League opening day match against Liverpool.
Ramsey returned to action for Arsenal last Saturday when we thumped Sunderland in the Premier League and Wenger believes the versatility of the Welsh makes him an asset to Arsenal.
‘He is a player who is box-to-box so overall he pushes the team forward,’ Wenger told Arsenal’s official website.
‘That is what we want in our side. He can play in holding midfield, he can play if needed on the flanks as well.
‘That’s where he is not happy but he can play there as well.
‘He has a tremendous drive, he’s a bit Lampard-ish you know, where he likes to get in the box, likes to shoot from distance and has similar quality.’
