Arsenal will be hosted by Manchester United in two days time and Arsenal will be without some some key players.
There were fitness concerns over Alexis Sanchez who picked up a hamstring injury while on duty for Chile but the striker has been able to dowse any tension, with declarations that he’ll be fit for Arsenal’s game.
Arsene Wenger had warned against playing the former Barcelona star fearing that the minor injury could get worse and keep him out for months rather than weeks. However, Sanchez has allayed any fears and believes he will be ready to take the field at Old Trafford on Saturday (19 November).
“There is no problem with me playing,” Sanchez added
referring to the clash against the Red Devils.
The Chilean has been labelled one of the best in the world by his national team boss Juan Antonio Pizzi after he inspired his country to victory over Uruguay. The win helped them move into the automatic qualification places for the 2018 World Cup, and with three games to go in the qualifying, their prospect of making it to Russia in 2018 are looking positive.
“Individuals speak for themselves. Alexis is among the best players in the world. [But] I am more in favour of emphasising the strengths of the group. And it is what allowed us to turn the game,” Pizzi said after the game, as quoted by ESPN FC.
