If Arsenal can go through the hectic December period with the key players coming unscathed, then we can push for the title unlike other seasons where injuries have derailed our chances.
According reports, Hector Bellerin has revealed that he is most likely to start running next as he steps up his recovery from an ankle injury.
The Spaniard’s been missing since Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the north London derby on November 8th.
Jenkinson and Debuchy have all played in his stead but non of the players have been able to replicate his impressive performance for Arsenal.
We have a hectic fixture list over the Christmas period but Bellerin’s given Arsene Wenger’s side a huge boost by revealing he’s closing in on a return.
‘It’s going better than expected because it’s a pretty hard injury but, at the moment, it’s recovering really well,’ said Bellerin.
‘I hope to be running by the end of this week or the beginning of next week and then we’ll just take it from there.’
