Granit Xhaka Passes Arsenal Medical, Club To ANNOUNCE Deal Monday

Granit Xhaka has finally put pen to paper on a deal that will see him confirm his career with Arsenal for at least the next five years and he is on his way to London to undergo medical and complete other formalities a close friend of his has confirmed.

Only last Tuesday the former FC Basel star’s German club Borussia Monchengladbach released an official statement claiming they have recieved an offer from an unnamed club for the transfer of their captain. Due to previous reports tht had intensely linked Arsenal to the signing of the former Bayern Munich target, many believe the unnamed club is Arsenal.

The official statement from Gladbach reads thus;

“Sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that there has been a specific offer for the Swiss midfielder,”

“An agreement with the interested club is still pending.”

Now according to journalist Artan Muhaxhiri who happens to be very close friends with the player has confirmed the player will today fly to London to undergo medical with Arsenal and finalise his move to the Gunners.

Muhaxhiri wrote on Facebook: “LATEST NEWS: It was confirmed today that Granit Xhaka will go to London to finalise the deal with Arsenal FC! Granit Congratulations!”

In what could be an attempt to show he wasn’t lying, Artan Muhaxhiri went further to post a picture of himself and the 23-year-old Kovoso born Switzerland international having dinner with a lady.

If this report is true, and it happens to be, it means the report yesterday that Arsenal have only made an unserious bid of 25 million for the player is way off the mark.

P:S – Various journalist on twitter have confirmed the player has undergone and passed his Arsenal medical and will officially be announced as an Arsenal player on Monday.
