Arsenal have not been very active in the winter transfer window. Apart from luring young Cohen Brammal, the North Londoners have mainly focused on agreeing new deals with their current crop of stars.
ARSENAL will use Alexis Sanchez to land Juventus star Miralem Pjanic, reports claim.
Sanchez’s future at Arsenal is currently uncertain.
The Chile international has been in fine form this season, bagging 14 Premier League goals.
However, his contract expires next summer and he is yet to commit his future to the north London side.
Juventus have been linked with a deal to sign the winger – and would likely guarantee him the success Sanchez craves.
And Spanish website Don Balon claim the 28-year-old could be used to help Arsenal land a top target.
Though Arsene Wenger does not wish to sell Sanchez, the Frenchman is growing tired will the prolonged saga.
And should Juventus come calling, Wenger will request Pjanic in return.
Pjanic was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer but Juve eventually signed the player from Roma.
Wenger wants the Croatia international as a long-term replacement for Santi Cazorla, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
It is claimed Sanchez has set his sights on a move to Turin.
And Pjanic, despite only signing for Juventus in the summer, could end up at the Emirates as part of a deal.
