Juventus and Arsenal are reportedly set to go head to head over a deal to sign Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow.
The midfielder enjoyed a superb season in his native Russia with CSKA and has established himself as a coveted player in European football, with a number of top European clubs said to be keen.
Arsenal have long been linked with a swoop for Golovin, as the midfielder prepares to represent Russia at the 2018 World Cup this summer.
However, it seems they will face fresh competition from Juventus for the signing of Golovin, with Tuttosport (via the Mirror) indicating that the Serie A champions are also keen on the player.
Juventus are set for a busy summer transfer window, with a number of players having already been spoken of as potential signings for the club.
Golovin is among those mentioned as possible additions for Massimiliano Allegri’s side, but it seems they will be forced to battle Arsenal for the promising midfielder.
