Arsenal spent close to 90million Pounds in the summer transfer window but the Gunners appear unrelenting in the quest to make the team better.
Reports according to the Metro claim Arsenal are keeping tabs on Genoa striker Leonardo Pavoletti and they will attempt to sign the player when the transfer window re-opens in January.
However, Arsenal are not the only club in the chase of the player. Liverpool have also had their scouts watching the player, per Tuttomercatoweb.
Pavoletti was playing in Serie B for Varese in 2014 before he completed a full move to Sassuolo. He then joined Genoa despite strong interest from Leeds United.
The 27-year-old striker was involved in most games for his Seria A, where he netted 15goals in 26games in the Italian league.
He was called up to the Azurris side at the start of this season but he was left out of their team and so he is yet to earn his first cap.
