Arsenal had a disappointing outing against Tottenham at the Emirates but Arsene Wenger is blaming the result of the game for the poor decision of Mark Clattenberg.
Wenger seemed puzzled as he spoke to the reporter and highlighted how the side lacked cohesion and looked nervous.
He was asked about Tottenham’s penalty and seemed more than a little irritated that it was given, claiming it was a ‘very soft one’
“Contact is not penalty,” Wenger said. “A foul is a penalty, for me it was a soft penalty, a very soft one. I haven’t seen it again. From the outside he only has one option, to look for a penalty.”
