Arsenal are according to reports in the Italian media keeping close watch on Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado. According to the reports coming from Italy, Arsenal scouts where reportedly in attendance to watch Fiorentina’s 2-1 win over Chievo Verona in the serie A this weekend.
Juan Cuadrado who only recently joined Fiorentina on a permanent basis after spending one season with them on loan from Udinese. The 25 year old can play as full back but has recently been pushed forward by the Viola.
Aside Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Monaco are also said to be interested in the high rated Colombian international but according to the reports, Arsenal have now moved ahead of the chasing pack just like kora has moved ahead of so many other football sites in the blogging world and the gunners may well strike a deal reportedly worth 6 million pounds for the defender.
Should Arsenal manage Cuadrado, he could be a direct replacement for Bacary Sagna who is still yet to sign a new contract with Arsenal and may well walk out on the gunners at the end of his contract in June. Cuadrado’s versatility also means he can play as a DM and as a centre back.
