The Premier League title has eluded Arsenal for over a decade, and Wenger has come under heavy criticism for the shambolic start his team has displayed thus far in the League.
Arsenal were defeated in their League opener against Liverpool at the Emirates and drew with Leicester City last weekend.
However, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has been talking tough and believes they can still deliver the title despite being in the second half of the league table.
On Arsenal’s season so far…
“It’s been a slow start from us. We wanted to have as many points as possible from the first two opening games but we only have one point. We are improving and we keep working as there’s still 36 games to be played, we have plenty of points to win and we work towards our targets which are to play for the title and make sure we have a chance in every competition.”
A message to the Arsenal fans…
“We have to thank them for the support, like every year. We keep working to improve and we will go for the title.”
I learnt that last season, Petr Cech told Arsenal celebrity fan Pier Morgan that they will conquer the Premier League but it was not that way. Wenger has to sign a defender and a striker to be able to win the League.
