Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry is wanted by German club Hertha Berlin on loan as confirmed by the manager of the club’s coach Pal Dardai, reports ESPN.
The Germany born youngster has seen his progress to Arsenal senior team stalled following an unfruitful loan spell at WestBrom.
However, his impressive show-off at the the Olympics this summer has seen him won the heart of Wenger and other top coaches in Europe. He has scored six games for Germany in four games and is expected to be the player to watch as they take on Nigeria in the semi final later this evening.
Confirming interest in the player;
Pal Dardai told BILD, “Serge exactly meets our search parameters,” Dardai told Bild. “Let’s see what will happen in the next couple of days.
However, As yet Arsenal’s intentions towards him remain unclear, although Arsene Wenger is a big believer in him and could well bring him back into the fold when he returns from Rio to provide another option in the wide forward positions.
The player’s contract with Arsenal will expire in the summer of 2017. He is expected to sign another contract with the Gunners before moving ahead on a most probable second loan spell.
