For the first time in a long while, Arsene Wenger has a plethora of midfielders and attackers to select from and this has seen Arsenal with a very formidable second team.
According to report, Arsenal new boy Lucas Perez may be leaving Arsenal in January for a loan move.
The Spaniard is currently sidelined with injury and the form of Giroud and Alexis Sanchez means the silky left footer has not place in the first team of Arsenal.
Reports in Italy, from Calciomercato, claim Arsene Wenger is ready to send him out on a short-term deal.
The 28-year-old has made just three Premier League appearances – totalling 87 minutes – and hasn’t played in any competition since October 25 in the EFL Cup against Reading.
Perez can also play out wide but Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey have been preferred in the attacking midfield roles this season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been used off the bench leaving Perez with little chance of making his way into the team.
His only goals for Arsenal came against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup – when he scored twice.
However his agent has denied he will be on the move again.
“He has no plans to leave, Arsenal and Wenger are very happy with him,” he said.
“Now we just think about Arsenal.”
