Arsenal have been told exactly how much they will need to spend to prise striker Alexandre Lacazette away from Lyon this summer, according to reports.
The 26-year-old is becoming a firm target for Arsene Wenger this summer, having originally only been a back-up option to Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe if their bid for the teenager failed.
But the north London club are increasingly resigned to missing out on the 18-year-old, with Monaco rejecting their £88.5 million offer, and have moved onto Lacazette instead.
According to The Telegraph, Lyon and Arsenal have held fresh talks over the striker, with the Gunners quoted €55 million (£48.7m) plus €12m (£10.6m) in add-ons.
Lyon are generally open-minded about the prospect of selling Lacazette, having already agreed to sell him to Atletico Madrid before the Spanish club’s transfer ban was upheld.
They will offer little resistance should he push for a move to Arsenal as gratitude for the time he has spent at the club, having joined the club’s academy as a schoolboy.
Lacazette has 100 Ligue 1 goals for Lyon and was in blistering form last season, out-scored by only Edinson Cavani as he notched 28 goals in 30 appearances.
