€29m Bid ACCEPTED, Arsenal To ANNOUNCE Signing Of Walcott Replacement

Recently, Barca technical secretary Robert Fernandez gave the biggest indication that the Catalans will be very busy in the transfer market. The La Liga Champions have already completed the signing of Samuel Umtiti from Lyon in a big money deal and there could be more big money arrivals at the Nou Camp before the transfer window officially closes on the 3rd of September.

However, before they can buy, Barca needs to sell due to the club’s well publicized financial troubles. And their misfortune could be to Arsenal’s advantage as according to reports, Arsenal have been given the go ahead to complete the signing of Turkey and Barcelona midfielder Ardan Turan.

Turan has always been a Wenger target, he was linked with us even before he moved to Atletico Madrid from where he signed for Barca. According to the reports, Barca have told Arsenal that they will accept a bid in the region of €29 million for the player they signed for 31 million about 18 months ago.

Although he won the La Liga with Barca, unfortunately he was merely a bit part player and as such has made it clear he will like to leave the club this summer. Chelsea, Dortmund, Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be interested in him.

Should he join Arsenal, he will be xpected to take Theo Walcott’s place in the team. Some teports claim Arsenal’s €29m bid for the player has been accepted, but until the likes of Skysports and BBC start reporting the same, the reports should be take with a big pinch of salt.
