Don’t Sign A New Arsenal Contract – PSG President Advises Wenger

Nasser-Al-Khelaifi

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been advised by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to ignore all contractual talks from Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis and instead sign for his club PSG. According to the reports, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Wenger are good friends are in constant. Wenger himself has confirmed in the past that he and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi are good friends though he went on to claim that taking up the PSG job was never part of their discussions.

According to TMW, PSG are eyeing Wenger for next summer and they believe if the Frenchman ignores Arsenal’s contract offers, signing him as their next manager will be made easier for them. It would be recalled that Wenger was constantly linked to the PSG job in the summer before Laurent Blanc who many believe is a makeshift was giving the job.

With Wenger’s contract expiring in 2014 and he so far claiming he does not want to discuss an extention to his current deal, it will not be surprising if PSG are seeing trying harder for him should he still not sign on a dotted lines before the summer transfer window.
