On Friday afternoon Arsenal announced that they had signed former Crystal Palace and Celtic goalkeeper, Alex Crean, a 17-year-old with whom they had recently been linked.
In a bid to secure the future of the club, Arsenal are still active in the hunt of youngsters that will eventually lead the club to the envisaged glory days.
According to latest reports making the rounds, Arsenal have announced the signing of Alex Crean, who plied his trade with Crystal Palace and Celtic.
He was on trial recently and this report points to the fact that he has done enough to be handed a professional contract by Arsenal. He will compete with Joao Virginia at the u18 level.
Crean, 17, started his career at Crystal place then he joined Celtic in the summer of 2015. He then headed off to Bromley in April, a side who play in the Vanarama National League.
It seems that his Twitter account has been deleted, or, at the very least changed, but it’s hard to say if this happened before or after he signed for Arsenal.
