Arsenal have announced that hotly-tipped defender Tafari Moore has completed a season-long loan move to Dutch side Utrecht.
Tafari spent most of the summer on trial at Utrecht and his impressive performances made the Eredivise outfit take him on a loan deal for the seasonal.
“We know the plans of Arsenal and see this as a win-win situation for both parties”, Utrecht technical director Erik Ten Hag said.
“FC Utrecht have a young defender with offensive qualities in the house”, he added.
A statement on The Gunners’ website also read: “We would like to wish Tafari well for his time in the Netherlands.”
Tafari made 15 appearances for Arsenal’s development side last season and he is under contract with the London side until 2018.
The 19-year old former Brent District defender is comfortable in possession and armed with a brilliant turn of pace. Tafari’s natural athleticism will help him excel in the Netherlands top flight and, if he progresses well, he could be marshaling the Arsenal first team right back position in the nearesr future.
