Done & Dusted: Arsenal Announce Deal For 6ft1 Versatile Defender – Not Mustafi

Earlier in the summer, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger never hid his desire of bolstering his defence and attack. The injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista made it imperative for him to sign a centre back.

Arsenal became linked to array of defenders in Europe including Marcel Tisserland, who is owned by French outfit AS Monaco.

However, Arsenal have completed the signing of Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia but Spanish Newspaper Marca has linked Tisserland with Arsenal move and the report seem to be gaining weight in Spain.

Espanyol are cited in the reports to be interested in the player but same report claims the player would prefer a move to Arsenal.

Marca claim in their Monday edition that Real Betis, Saint Etienne, Bordeaux, Arsenal and ‘Manchester’ are all providing competition for Espanyol.

They are all potential brides for the player, say Marca. He seems very fortunate indeed.
