Real Betis have set an asking price for their left-back Junior Firpo, according to reports in Spain.

The Brazilian full-back is being linked with several clubs around Europe in recent weeks including Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester City since breaking into the first-team last season.

Firpo, 22, has continued to impress both domestically and in European competition so far this season making a total of 17 appearances, scoring three goals in the process.

Spanish publication AS, as reported by TriballFootball.com, now claim Betis are prepared to sell him next month, but only for the right price.

It’s understood that Betis will only allow the left-back to depart the club if an offer of £40million plus is tabled. However, reports also suggest that clubs can discuss personal terms with the player if they trigger his release clause, which is said to be £43.5million.

Unai Emery may look to do some transfer business next month with the left-back position just one of the areas that the Spaniard is looking to improve.

However, Manchester City could pose Arsenal the most problems in their attempt to land Firpo as the player’s agent is the brother of Pep Guardiola.
